I think that another Xbox console will be the first to be released. I really don't have a guess as to when another Xbox 360 console will be out, but I think at least 2-3 more years and a new system will be out.With the next-gen Xbox Microsoft needs to take thier time and make the console the right way instead of rushing the system out. The PS3 has the power to last way into the future.
The PS3 was just released last year, and Sony has had the trend of releasing a new game console every 6 years, so another Playstation console is probably 5 or more years down the road.

Probably the next Xbox, the original Xbox only lasted 4 years and Microsoft will probably bring out a successor to the 360 in the next 2-3 years.

Nothing has really been said or mentioned by any company, but supposedly the next xbox will be out after 2010
