defend themselves against a police officer when the feel physically threaten?
and does a bodyguard have the right to defend his/her client from a police officer?

In Missouri, you may defend yourself against excessive force (provided that the force is ACTUALLY excessive... saying "I THOUGHT It was excessive" won't cut it.)

You may not, however, lawfully use force to defend yourself against an arrest, even if the arrest is unlawful.

You have no viable rights.

The police would have to admit that they were wrong.

It's a matter of doing what is right. Win the fight and lose the case.

it could probably be argued either way, but i would suggest NOT trying it, and i live in canada
