The person above me is right. They use thread and kind of tie it into knots to 'pluck' your hair out , but they can get more than just one hair at a time, like you get with tweezing.

I get my eyebrows threaded! It's a better and easier way than waxing. It also doesn't hurt as much. You could get it done at a salon. They use thread to take your hairs off. It is also much easier than plucking every single hair!
Also, when you get it done, they make your shape of your eyebrows very shaped and polished.
I wouldn't suggest threading by yourself until you are very good at it. If you don't know how to do it, i suggest going to a salon. thats what i do

It's a technique for plucking & shaping eye-brows.
It uses thread, instead of tweezers.
It originated in the middle-east.
