Okay imagine you got into a fight with someone, whether it's a verbal or physical fight. And if the other person backs away, and shows a little fear. Would you consider that person a cowered?

No, you're the coward, Fighting is not the answer, it just causes more problems for you and for others and it will eventually go out of control. Both of you should just try to be reasonable and sort things out. Trust me, I've been there before.

To be a coward means to lack courage, he chose the right idea by not doing the wrong thing, making u the one who's cowardly. Not trying to be mean, but there's more than one way to solve a problem, and fighting is not the only way, it's the wrong way.

verbal arguments - i walk away, can't be bothered. which is why i have to say: physical fight - i'd probably be grateful, cause i can't imagine being in a fight but if i were i'd be glad the other person had the brains to back off!

Not at all! I would respect that person more and look down on the person that just wants to fight.

Depends on the circumstance. Not necessarily. Maybe I'm acting like a psycho and need to bring it down a notch.

No that person would be the most sensible, backing away and not causing more trouble.
