Willie mays or alex rodriguez?

I believe that the best natural player is Willie Mays. A-rod is a roid monster and is striving off of his size to compete.

Why would someone use the argument that A-Rod is better because he has 2 Gold Gloves, when Mays had 12? That makes no sense.

Willie Mays had 660 HR's, 3200 hits, 1900 RBI and 2000 runs.

The people saying A-Rod have no clue how good Willie Mays was. A-Rod isn't on his level yet.

It's really not fair to compare players of different eras. Let Mays start his career when Rodriguez did, let Ruth, Aaron, Mantle, Williams, etc etc etc, all play under the same conditions, against the same watered-down expansion pitching, and then you can make a fair comparison.

I have to agree, A-Rod (depsite how much people hate him) is the most complete baseball player we've ever seen. Hits for power, decent average, he strikes out but nothing abysmal, he's a good baserunner and a 2-time Gold Glover (he is capable of winning it at 3rd). Not to beef him up, but he's capable of playing any position on the field, short of catcher, pitcher and probably could have played other pro sports as well.

It's hard to compare an infielder and an outfielder form different eras. So far I go with Mays but if Arod plays a few more years than it's all him

Brooks B is retarded....a-rod all the way, if you get paid to break records then you just might be the best in the game....arod can field and kind of hit as ppl can see i mean 52 home runs isn't too bad

To the asker of this question- When arod hits over 800home runs you will look back and ask your self why you asked this question
