Summary judgment is a procedure wherein only basic pleadings are allowed to be filed in order that the no delays will be made by the parties.

A summary judgment is appropriate for the purposes of judicial economy where the facts are not in dispute and the moving party feels it is entitled to judgment as a matter of law. The burden of proof is on the moving party and can be disputed by the other side.
