No. There are people who are overly sensitive to light, which is probably how this myth was started.

Of course... I am one. Seriously, there are no such things as vampires. The myth probaly was just created from people who were sensative to light and people who like blood. Like me. I can handle drinking blood. But that doesn't make me into a vampire. I am not sensative to light. I don't burn up in light nor do I have fangs, nor do I go arround turning into a bat LoL.

Not in the Bram Stoker sense no.
There are people who pretend to be Vampires and try and drink blood, But that is likely a disorder that would be medically treated.

There are however psychic vampires who can willing or by accident drain you or your energy. These people are usually depressed and do not do it to harm you, usually they do not even know when they are doing it. And this too can be changed simply by them making changes in their own lives and trying to make their lives better.

We can strengthen our energy fields to protect ourselves until these people figure out what they are doing. Or avoid them all together if you are not involved personally with them.

i think that the main view people see as vampire, from a long time ago like dracula are not real, but i think that people currently take what they've learned and are turning themselves into "vampires" i have watched a few different shows regarding this subject and there are true believers around the world that partake in rituals such as sharpening their teeth and literally sucking blood, not necessarily from necks, but from different parts of the body *~*~*~ creepy if you ask me

Second vampire question I have seen today! It must be a biting question, har har.
There are groups of people into vampirism. There are energy vampires too. A real blood sucking vampire though? Doubt it. (Unless you want to count my ex, because he just may be one.)

You ask the question, but would you understand the answer?
Yes, or No.... neither answer fits, because the answer has to come from within you.
I cannot tell you. I can only know for myself.
