If it's a girl, 14 or 15.
If it's a boy, never.

Definitely at the age of 13, no younger. I know a girl who started wearing make-up at the age of 8. A young girl wearing make-up doesn't look "pretty" at all. Sheer lip gloss can be worn before, but no younger than 10, in my opinion. Halloween is definitely an exception.

The first time I wore any kind of makeup was in grade four or five. I had acne on my forehead and I tried to hide It in the stupidest way, the foundation was clearly visible.

The grade five I started wearing eyeliner, and I felt ugly without it. In our elementary, makeup wasn't allowed, but I'd still come to school with it on. It boosted my confidence.

So I believe any age you start feeling the need to wear it. Makeup isn't a big thing. :)

I'm fourteen now, by the way. Grade nine. I wear mascara, eyeliner, conceiler, foundation. Usually I see girls starting in seventh grade.

I started wearing mascara and lip gloss in eigth grade. Four years later, that's my entire beauty routine still. Sometimes I wear light eyeshadow or pink lipstick. I'm so fair -- I have golden-blonde hair, light blue eyes, and pale skin -- that anything else stands out too much.

Well for foundation or cover up i wouldn't let my kids wear it until signs of acne come up. With eye makeup i started wearing it at 13. My mom never let me wear it very heavy. i started wearing brown mascara and sheer eyeshadows and that supressed my desire to wear makeup. made me feel like a big girl. I'd start at eye makeup at 13 or 14 years old. But trust me with the foundation thing. I began wearing it long before i needed it and i'm deeply regretting it now.

High school, so around 14-15. Kids should learn first, and not wear makeup until they are mature enough to not look like a whore.
