write the balanced equation-

2C8H18 + 17O2 --> 16CO2 + 18H2O

1 gallon x 128 fl oz/gal x 29.57 mL/fl oz x 0.703 g/mL = 2661 grams
2661 grams / 114.2 g/mol = 23.3 moles
8 moles of CO2 per mole C8H18 x 23.3 moles of C8H18 = 186 moles CO2
186 moles CO2 x 22.4 liters = 4,170 liters
