I am looking for a new laptop. I have that about a MacBook Pro as well as the Dell XPS Notebook. I am a gamer, student, and music junky. I like to make videos sometimes, presentations for school, type papers excessively, etc. What are some pro's and con's and what are your suggestions? Are there any other computers you would suggest?
Thanks!

I am planning for college in buying this laptop, i am also considering buying a desktop with my brother for our house, which i would probably buy a XPS, and some loser said Macbook's don't play games, which show's his ignorance, since it has tons of games, but it can't play "Games for Microsoft".

an alternative to the Dell XPS as a gaming laptop i would consider the Toshiba Dynabook Satellite WXW/79DW. it has about the same price tag, but with 4GB memory, two 160GB HD's and the faster CPU.
have a look, it's the 2nd from top

If you are a gamer, I would first ask WHY you want a laptop?

A desktop PC will give your more power and speed, is more upgradeable, and cheaper overall.

Laptops are for mobility only.

I like Dell XPS, and many games will not run on a mac

If you want to play games, a desktop PC is best..

Toshiba Satellite works great.

They are having huge issues right now.

Simple.

MACs do not run games.
