what are your symptoms? there are different kinds of nerve damage, depending on the part of the nerve involved; sometimes it involves a temporary loss of sensation and/or movement and sometimes it is more permanent. I have no idea what implanon is.

GO TO THE DOCTOR. NOW. Whether it's nerve damage or it jolted something -really- important like your central nervous system or heart, you need to have it checked out. If it turns out to be minor, all is well. Testing and treatment depend on the individual md and the cumulative results of wherever he starts, mri, ct/cat scans, etc. But before they make the diagnosis.. You need to go see the doctor. Please. Good luck!

The only way to reliably tell if there is nerve damage is to take a test called an EMG. (EMG is short for electromyogram)

Your doctor can tell you more about it.
