I'm applying for a job and they want to know how much experience I have working with both kinds of data.

I had to look this one up as well. It appears to me that macro and micro data are related to survey data. In my opinion the difference is sample size. Macro Data might include say population by county while micro data looks at a smaller group like population by town.

That's my 2 cents worth...

Normally I don't like "I don't know" answers, but I have never heard of those terms and I have been around awhile. Is this from a class or something?
