So, I'm guessing you know all of these people and see a consistent pattern in behavior that you deem "jerk"? Wait, you don't? Well, then you should stfu, pal.

Listen, I can be a jerk at times (read above), but it doesn't mean I'm always a jerk. It means I'm human. Sometimes we get upset, sometimes it's misunderstandings, and sometimes it's just that we're too busy to say thank you and please.

It's called being adults. I'd love to take time and pamper you like I'm your mother or father, but I have adult things to do. You see, if I miss one day of work, or I'm late on my bills, I go on the street.. It's called stress. Chin down, hands up, big boy.

See? There I go being a jerk again.

i wonder the same thing. it pretty much is just human nature. its kinda like an emotion cuz they may be angry so they'll let out their anger by being a jerk.

There is no trust, without trust people will always be mean because they think you will stab them if they turn around. I think it is also a part of human nature. humans have warred for years. so i guess humans have always been alittle aggresive

it might be a matter of perspective, people are jerks because they see themselves as stronger then you when they are a jerk to you. that may be it.

50/50: Half are jerks because they are egomaniacs. Half are jerks because they are clueless.

If you didn't have them you'd have to invent them, so they do serve a purpose.
