The dealer should charge you $35 for the owners manual. But, this is for the owners manual ONLY. You do not get the service book, stereo book or zip folder that the car came with originally. So, if you are looking for a complete owners book, I would suggest checking out E-Bay. I found a complete book for $39 and it is well worth it. (sellers ID is a2eurotec) MB charges $80 for the vinyl folder! Ouch! You may have to wait for a while for one to appear, but it is well worth going through E-Bay to do so.
Hope this info helps you.

Most of the auto companies have an online "owner resource center" from which you can download various information including the manuals.
Usually they offer late model manuals for free, or for a nominal fee.
