Okay, first not telling her is deception. Women do not like being lied to or deceived. They can have various reactions to being deceived: none of them are good.

Two, you already have proven that you are better off being a cash-guy rather than a credit-card guy. Why rock the boat? If you manage better with cash, then so be it.

Three, if you decide to get a house or car and the bank runs your credit report, then the card will show up. Then she will find out in the worst way possible. ( Then you are back to the first point with the deceiving stuff again)

Only exception....car rentals. They absolutely will not rent to you without a credit card. Everything else -- while sometimes inconvenient -- can be managed via cash or cheque.

best of luck to you....Finn.

You should cut yours up and tell her to do the same and get a debit card once you get a few dollars in the bank. With a credit card, you are paying someone to be able to use your own money and with a debit card you are more likely to be more responsible with money and actually even get interest on money you have in the bank. Credit card sompanies are in business to make money and you are buying them the million dollar homes by being their victim. Better you get a debit card and keep that money yourself!!

you should definitely tell your wife. She cut the last one up for a reason. however, it is definitely ok to let her know that it is yours, if that is what you want. i think this is really a matter between you and your wife though. Make sure you let her know how you feel and what you really want though. don't let her run it completely, however take her input seriously and be ready for her to go out and get her own without your info on it also.

tell her, its on your credit report. if she pulls credit (a credit report) or someone in finance does (banker, mortgage etc..)
she WILL find out then. that does not go over well..

You should tell her, that is your wife and a secret is a secret.. Dishonesty is dishonesty... Has no place in a marriage... You should tell her before she finds out on her own... God bless****
