i have had my period for about 2 years now . Ive actually only had my actual period about 5 times out of a 2 years. I skip a lot of months (usually 6 to 7 months until my next period).
i just want to know if this is normal or if i need to go to see a doctor.
My last period was july or june

you don't say how old you are, but if you are under 16 this is normal. it can take several years to establish a normal cycle. Some women never are "regular" It wouldn't hurt to get checked out, especially if you've never had an exam or if you are sexually active.

Relax if you're under a lot of stress and if you're worried about something all the time this is normal. My friend goes 8 to9 months with out having her period because she's always stressed out. What I'm saying to you is that stress can and will prolong your period also some birth controls do that too.

It can be normal for a young girl to have irregular periods while u are going through puberty - so u shouldn't worry. But the best bet is u should be seeing a gynecologist regularly since u have had your period. You need to start having regular check ups to stay healthy.

It's normal to skip now and then, and it's normal for your first few years to be irregular, especially if you are active in sports or have health conditions. But this is a little too irregular - definitely visit with your doctor to check in and make sure you don't have any other health problems.

This happened to me for about 6 months. It was never normal. But, 2 years is a long time, you should check with your doctor just to be sure. Good luck, don't worry you'll be fine!

I know periods are irregular for the first few years, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that drastic. You're best bet is to look it up on another website.

I'd definitely ask a doctor. The longest I've gone between periods is one and a half months.
