1. Capital punishment sucks.

2. They are children who obviously don't know right from wrong.

3. There are such things as institutions where such individuals can be segregated from people they may injure.

I'm going on the assumption that you mean children who molest other children when you say "child sex offender".
If you mean ADULTS who molest children....I have no problem with blowing them all away.

1. I am against the death penalty anyway, even for murderers. I believe they should be locked away for life, which in the long run is worse than a quick, painless death. The death penalty should be a LAST resort if it is given to an inmate, and that is if they are a severe threat behind bars and have been killing other inmates and COs.

2. A child sex offender did not kill anyone so it is not grounds to be killed for. Granted it is a horrible crime but if the death penalty is given then it should only be given to murderers only.

3. Child sex offenders can be rehabiliated as there have been some people who completed rehab treatments. Everyone deserves to try to redeem themselves somehow and if you kill them off, it's like taking an easy way out to appea to the victim's revenge.

People should not get the death penalty if they did not kill someone. If child sex offenders were put to death, they would be more likely to kill their victims in order to cover up their crimes because there would be nothing to lose. So, punishments less than death are incentives to let their victims live.

In MY opinion:
Dying is far too easy for these scumbags.
1. They need to face the consequences of their crime EVERY DAY---because the child has to.
2. They need to be beat or sodomized every day, so that they have no hope for the future....like their victims.
3. They need daily reminders, humiliation, pain, agony, and a life in ruins...just like the children they hurt.

These people are the lowest form of life on the planet. They should never be allowed the release from pain that death brings!

The offender is also a child.
The offender is of limited intelligence or severely mentally ill.
The offender is boyfriend or girlfriend of classmate who is only a year or so younger.

A fourth reason: they are truly repentant.

1. They have basically ended the life of another person - so they deserve the same.
2. My tax dollars are wasted on them in prison - killing them is a better allocation of my tax dollars.
3. Sex Offenders CANNOT be rehabilitated. (Ask the American Medical Association OR the American Psychiatric Association.)

I'll start by saying I do not believe in the death penalty. It accomplishes nothing but specific deterrance for the individual who dies.
-Child molesters cannot be rehabilitated.
-Capital punishment actually costs more than life in prison.
-Why not let them be raped in prison so they know what it feels like?

1. They were abused themselves and are a victim.

2. They are mentally unstable and you can't execute the insane.

3. They are children and not responsible for their own actions.

(I disagree with all of them. All sex offenders should be executed)
