Yes, I guess. Depends on the situation. For example, if it strikes during the night, it can be scary.

No, actually I love to study the weather so I love lightning... It's really pretty and extraordinary.

But for the thunder... That's a different story! He he...
The louder the worse. Thunder gets me all shaken up.

Even though my grandma and I came up with what thunder and lightning really comes from...

We say it's God Bowling... When he gets a strike we can hear it, (Thunder) and when he touches the bowling ball to pick it up and roll it on down the bowling lane you can tell, (Lightning)... And if it's a light rain it's only one game but if it's pouring he's playing until he wins...

LoL!

That's something my grandma and I came up with when I was younger. :o)

Happy Holidays!

Sometimes. A tree fell on my house once because of lightening.

A couple years ago, I was watching it out my window. One cracked 10 feet from me. The whole house shook. I have NEVER heard anything SO LOUD in my life. It scared the**** **** ** ****** ** ** * out of me. It's so weird, too... it sounds like a whip cracking louder than you can imagine.

THAT was definitely scary. That was in California. Now I'm in Virginia and once in a while we get some pretty insane storms that do kinda make my heart race a little.

I live five feet from the sea.
Recently, I saw lightening hit a boat mast beside my home
That was a little too close for comfort.

No, but sometimes it is freaky. You know? I'm not scared. I ain't scared of nothing. That's how I am. I might get in a fight. I'm not scared. Why would I be scared of lightning? I don't know. Why would I? Ha! Makes sense. Don't it? OK!

No, but I prefer to watch from inside a safe building, rather than be outside where lightning is more likely to zap me.

Yes, because my Grandma's house got hit by it, and made a whole in her house, and I was inches away from getting struck. It's really scary. I can't stand it now.
