I am one week postpartum and I'm experiencing a pulling pain in my groin muscles, like someone is pulling down on the muscles. Especially around the area where you pee - which is weird, because thats not involved in the birth process... I can't walk for more then couple of minutes because of this pain. :( Anyone experienced smth similar? What can you do to relieve it?

EVERY pelvic muscle is involved in giving birth. Your body is bruised and needs alot of time to recover, so take it easy. Good luck!

Yes because every muscle in your pelvis was used during the birth process. You body just needs to heal. It may take a while. But if your pain is unbearable talk to your doctor something may be wrong.

many ligaments are stretched and such for the duration of transport. If as you're saying, you spent a fabulous variety of time going lower back and forth to hosptial, you likely injured your self. you should touch your gyn and locate out what he can do approximately it, tho i think it is going to be a count of having sufficient relax to heal up.

I think you just have to wait it out (and do those kegal exercises) but really you have to let everything down there have time to heal. in a few months or so (different for everyone) you should feel back to your normal self.
