kids (there is 4 of them) ever since. My son is not a good daddy so he is really not an option. It seems to us that their mother should had by now had a place for all of them to live.
I was wondering if anyone here might now what we could do to get custody of the kids?

I don't know what state you are in...but here in California you can apply with the court for a Guardianship. Go to the clerks office in your county, the family law department, and ask for the papers to start a Guardianship for your grand-kids. This would allow your daughter in law to see them for visitation, but it would allow you to make decisions on their school, etc., and it would keep her from just deciding she wanted them back, and taking them. I work for a family law attorney in California...good luck

Take her to court. You will have to prove she is an unfit mother. Keep all receipts of every thing you buy the kids. Keep track of how often she comes to see them. You need to keep track of everything to take to court to get custody.♥♥

Maybe you should seek the advice of a lawyer or if you don't have money, some type of family counselor or public assistant

If you can prove that mom and dad are unfit parents then probably.
