My husband and i use it. We both could care less how it feels when it comes time to pull out cause it is either pull out or get pregnant.
I know that the withdrawel method is not 100% accurate but it works for us, has been for 6 years.

First of all just realize, as I'm sure you do, that the pull out method does carry a risk of pregnancy. I will tell you my husband and I did that for three years, and the only time we got pregnant is when we failed to pull out, but there is always a chance, as pre-ejaculate does contain sperm.
That disclaimer said, yeah it can be satisfying but it requires a bit more "work" and preparation.
You will as the man obviously need some where to expel your ejaculate, and some way to clean it up. Thats where the pre-planning of having a towel or whatnot near by comes in.
You will likely want to make sure that your girlfriend or whomever has achived her climax first, as you obviously CAN'T climax together. If you go first you may not be "up" to finish her, and secondly you may have an increased risk of pregnancy if you don't clean yourself off really really well.
I found it satisfying as I'm sure my husband did. Sometimes it was frusterating if our timing wasn't on and I didn't finish before him, but a LOT less frusterating than having a kiddo screaming in the background.
For my money I would suggest either using a condom, or if you prefer, there have contraceptive inserts, one brand I know of Encare, you insert 10-15 minutes prior to sex. It is only a spermacide, but you then have birth control that is more reliable than the pull out method, but maybe less intrusive than a condom. * I guess your preferences would dictate which you prefer*. And if you were to use Encare AND the pull out method you lower your chances even more.
Good Luck

It is AS effective as condoms (10-18% failure rate vs 10-20% for withdrawal in the REAL WORLD not the "Laboratory Failure Rate") IF YOU FOLLOW THE RULES. Neither is really that effective if you really don't want children but lets not pretend that one is a "real" method of birth control and one isn't. One is a method of preventing STDs which may prevent pregnancy. Either should be combined with a second method of birth control to be really effective against pregnancy.
It is satisfying but not great.

How well does it work in preventing pregnancy?
* IF
* before penetration a man who has recently ejaculated urinates to get rid of any left over sperm.
* the tip of the penis is wiped dry of lubricating fluid before penetration
* the penis IS withdrawn BEFORE ejaculation
* ejaculation occurs outside the vagina and well away from the vaginal opening
* THEN
* withdrawal has an approximately 80-90% effectiveness rate, or better.
* BUT
* control is difficult. This last minute method is risky. It offers NO protection from sexually transmitted infections, including HIV; even the pre-ejaculate fluid can contain infection along with sperm

The more significant finding, however, was that most pre ejaculate samples did not contain any sperm and those that did had only small clumps of a very small amount of sperm which seemed to be immobile. A larger study is needed to verify these results. If these results are confirmed, they may dispel the myth that pre ejaculate fluid contains sperm. An ongoing WHO/USAID study shows that the pregnancy rate caused by men with 3 million sperm/ml/ejaculation is very low; fertility clinics consider men with a sperm count of no more than 5 million/ml to be infertile, particularly if is there is low motility. The average ejaculation has about 100 million sperm/ml, but about 10 million sperm pass through the cervical mucus, about 1 million make it to the top of the uterine tract, and just about 100,000 sperm reach the fallopian tubes. Thus, only a couple of sperm, assuming motility, would reach the fallopian tubes in the case of the pre ejaculate samples with some sperm, which tended to be immobile (sperm levels only in the 1000s). Thus, the probability of pregnancy is very low if pre-ejaculate fluid enters the vagina.

Totally satisying until the man and woman are parents. Which will happen very soon if you are relying on the pull-out method.

it's called the "pull and prey" method for a reason. There is still a good chance you could become pregnant. From my bf's past experiences, he says it doesn't feel the same for him (but I think it's because there's less cleanup for him ;P)

It is 100% unreliable.
By the time he feels the beginning of climax, he has already leaked semen-containing fluid into the woman---enough to make her pregnant!
