what is one memory from your childhood (when you were around 3,4,5,6 years old) that you stilll remember?

The moon landing. My oldest memory; I was only 2. We were camping. My dad found someone with a television and we went over to watch this. I remember the shape of the television as much as the guy taking that one step/giant leap. It's funny, but astronomy has fascinated me my whole life.

I remember my aunt's records under the t.v. set which included two versions of The Sound of Music soundtrack and a record I bought for myself only a few years ago, an album of the 1950s by Kay Starr. It is weird seeing the same record sleeve again. My aunt died young (cancer) so I didn't know her for long.

start of my infants and viewing the births of my grandchildren and likewise being waiting to sever the umbilical cords of my grandsons. those have been dazzling, unforgettable moments that's no longer forgotten and could continually be enjoyed in my reminiscence!
