I answer based on what i think or on what the correct answer is: if it's something the person asking didn't want to hear, he / she shouldn't have asked the question.

For random, pointless questions? I answer with the first thing that pops in my head.
Other questions that ask for my opinion, I give it. Chances are I'm not going to get a best answer, even if I suck up and tell the person what they want to hear.

Well I answer based in my experience...but also depends who I'm answering ...and say something nice that want to hear some of my contacts or other...

Good question. You just earned yourself a star! Both. Because after you get to know your connections. You know which way they like you to answer different questions. With the others you pretty much just roll the dice and hope for the best.

You are supposed to answer a question honestly, and to the best of your knowledge. You might even want to look it up, just to help the person asking the question. Remember, helping other people makes someone happy!

You click on answer up in the middle of the top of the home of yahoo answers and click answer than you find a question you want to answer and you click answer this question.

Mostly i answer on how i feel or personal experience. Never really do it based on what the person may wnat to hear .
