Explain the nature of your problem?

I take it your fish aren't doing well, you have cloudy water, or algae in the tank?

There's an edit button under your question you can use to add details so we know exactly what the problem is.

Do you clean your tank with a siphon to remove debris from the gravel? Just dipping the water out doesn't remove decomposing material that adds to ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate in your tank.

Also, if the problem seems to be related to ammonia, nitrite or nitrate, have your source water tested if you use tapwater.

If you have fish dying after a water change, do you use conditioer to remove chlorine/chloramine? Make sure what you use says that it "removes" or "neutralizes". Just letting water sit for 24 hrs may not be enough: http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/chlor.htm

Make suer you have a good filter

Shrimps, suckerfish (such as some loaches) and mussels are good at keeping the tank clean to

Once you have a well established aquarium you should never do water changes more frequently than once every two weeks at about 20% - 30%. It is not needed and will do more harm than good as it removes the bacteria needed for the nitrogen cycle

Don't take out all the water at once take about 25% out per cleaning. Sometimes they're is strong algae in the gravel, you can buy tubes that act like vaccums and suck things out between the rocks. That takes out about 30% of the water do that no more than once every 2 cleanings. Another problem may be too many fish in one tank? Make sure your tank is big enough for the fish, when they start growing. You don't want to stunt them.
