If the Republicans keep putting all of their eggs into the "I'm the best person to beat Hillary" basket, their going to be at a serious disadvantage if/when Obama wins the Democratic nomination.
They're already all doing themselves a huge disservice by pandering so much to the (extreme right) base. Although I suppose that's the only way that any of them can win the nomination.

He was the best place in 2000 too, and look where that got him. I sure hope John gets the nomination, but I doubt he will.
