Lets say they invented a rocket that travelled at the speed of light, are there any resisting forced in space?

A rocket as we know it cannot travel at the speed of light, that is due to relativity. Yes, there are resisting forces in space, just not many of them - these include gravity and particles among other things. A light year is a distance and therefore, that is definitely in the realm of possiblities for humans in the future. It would take a long time to get there, and it make take generations, but it is a possibility.

The resisting force is the general theory of relativity. It states that nothing with mass can accelerate to lightspeed. That would require infinite energy. And there isn´t an infinite amount of energy in the universe. If we want to travel one lightyear we have to do so at sublight speed. 50% of lightspeed should be possible if you could build a rocket that could generate constant and signifiant thrust for a long period of time. Second problem is that there really isn´t anything at one lightyears distance from earth. The nearest star is 4.4 lightyears away.

A light year is a distance and not time so it is possible to travel a lightyear but it will take a lot longer than a year to travel that distance.
A lightyear is the distance that light will travel in one year, anything else than light will take longer than a year to travel that distance.
One light year is 9454254955488 km.

ya know, I think theres an pulsed nuclear power rocket that could cross a distance of a light year in a fairly short amount of time.

But no nations can test nuclear bombs in space according to some UN peace treaty..... so now we can't fire the rocket and have lost the technology to laws.

well, it is very likely that humans travel at the speed of light because the speed of light is very high and even if you accelerate at 600m/s every second, which would kill you, it would still take a VERY, VERY long time to reach that speed.

Firstly, we would die before we could get to 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000008 light years.

Secondly, if you could survive 1 light year (which is impossible), then you would have to freeze your self and wait a whole enternity.
