Othello- Iago...?

i have to pretend i am Iago and write a letter to the duke explaining my actions in act II of the play... can anyone help me? im really confused with this whole play and who is who and who does what

For this assignment, you don't have to sweat the whole play. Just read Act Two. What does Iago say and do in that act? Why do you think he behaves the way he does? If he had to justify himself, what would he say in his own defense?
