I wanted to download something but everytime i do, a pop up comes up and tells me my current securty settings do not alow the file to be downloaded, what do i do to get rid of that?

Go to tools> internet options> advanced check the box next to allow download on demand or it may be install on demand, Im using vista so I dont have it in front of me

Open in your home page, your Tools, open internet options and open security and should be set at medium/high. Open privacy and should be set at medium.

You can change these settings.

You did not mention if you are getting a yellow bar/popup that Internet Explorer says we have blocked the site from download the file. If this is the case all you have to do is double click on the yellow bar at the top and allow the file to be downloaded.

You didn't write the type of browser you are using.
