No. You might try trickery or deception, but real compromise, diplomacy and negotiation must have two parties willing to solve a concern in the most equitable way for both parties.

Only if you, yourself, are reasonable. That's why George W. Bush has been unable to deal with Ahmenidinajadadadad, the President of Iran, diplomatically; because they're both clearly unreasonable men.

NO! Read a history book and see what diplomacy with Hitler did for Neville Chamberlin, England, Europe, and the world.
Diplomacy doesn't not work with madmen or madwomen.
