I've been "spotting" nonstop for over a month! I stopped taking my oral contraceptives for the placebo week like I'm supposed to at the end of the month, now I'm back on it and it's still going! What the heck's the deal?

Depends on which pill you're taking. Some, like Seasonique, can cause break through bleeding for the first two pill packs (which is 6 months). I'd contact your ob/gyn and ask them if that's normal for that pill; you may need an exam.

Please see a healthcare practitioner. It sounds like your pills need to be adjusted. You didn't say how old you are, but I'm assuming you're fairly young. A simple adjustment to your pills should do the trick. As a woman's body changes (every year, not just menopause) things need to be tweeked. A quick check with a healthcare person will rule out anything else. If you do not have a healthcare service you can afford please look in your phonebook or online for a "community health center". They will help you.
