Guild Wars Gold question?

If i flag heroes/henchies super far away from me, and i pick a bag of gold up, will i get to keep ALL the gold or will it still split between the party?

It doesn't matter where your party members are, even if they're dead. If you pick up gold, it will automatically split evenly between all party members.

It doesn't matter, I think the only time you'd get all the gold is if you are the ONLY person who did any damage to your target and your companions are a LONG way away from you. So far away that their names are gray in your party menu. I'm not sure minions can do that.
