I want to play The Sims 2 , WoW and possibly Spore when that comes out in the Spring.

It is a good integrated graphics but only supports older Shader 2.0. Integrated graphics are SLOW for most current games. For gaming consider laptops with dedicated graphics cards starting with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400XT or Geforce 8400M GS.

Upgrade your memory to 2gb , because that graphics card is an on board graphics card , it cannot be upgraded and uses memory from your installed memory in your laptop. Use this link and run the Crucial Scanner it will tell you what you have installed for memory and what you can upgrade to, like i said upgrade to a 2gb kit http://www.crucial.com/

it might be just enough on low settings for something like spore. however if i were you i'd get an upgrade to something like eVGA's Nvidia 8600 GT for only 100 dollars.
