What are we about to inherit when we pick up Iraq? What is the aftermath? Will this country come apart at the seams? Afterwards, do we inherit this country? Is this a Kosovo, a Bosnia, a Somalia? Is this a bag of worms that we are going to pay for in the commitment of our military and out of our treasury? In the gulf war, 80 percent of the burden, the cost of the war, was picked up by others. Are they out there right now, ready to pay for 80 percent of this war? Are there coalitions ready to commit troops, to fight and die by our side for this cause? If not, why not? Can our economy stand this? Can our military stand this? Are you ready to pay $5 for a gallon of gas at the gas pump and not complain? Is the risk that great?

To the post about :Are we fighting Iraq or the terrorist networks that have been harbored in Iraq for years? Was Iraq the main training point for the savages who attacked us on 9-11 before they came to the US?

Alqida, the group that is responsible for 911 were not in Iraq. Suddam would not allow it (because of his control of the people, which he would not have 100% had if the Alqida were there), they were in various other countries. Thanks to our actions, Alqida now has a new breeding ground: IRAQ. Thank you Mr Bush! You lied about the reasons (proven wrong), but your still hanging on to a possibility of getting that oil. Whats your family and friends business ventures? Oh yeah OIL.
To answer your question: Was Iraq the main training point for the savages who attacked us on 9-11 before they came to the US? NO, but they will be now!

And whats the alternative? Are we fighting Iraq or the terrorist networks that have been harbored in Iraq for years? Was Iraq the main training point for the savages who attacked us on 9-11 before they came to the US? The question you should ask is what would our lives be like if we had to fight the terrorist on American soil? Then what would we inherit?

It will be more like Korea probably. Originally I think they wanted to use oil revenues. The greatest thing we could do to win the war on terror and promote peace in the spinning out of control world would be to impeach Bush and Cheney.

Dr. Ronald Earnest Paul

Cashflow:
How exactly would we fight terrorits on our soil... terrorists use terrorist tactics, not military tactics... thats why we call them terrorists.

The terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 trained in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.

How can you trithfully beleive that if we had not done this Saddam would have succesfully invaded our strongly protected country with slingshots?

For god's sake how can you people buy into this bullcrap?

Wow I did not know that. Is change bad? IN the case of the two coproate, snookering parties I think not, just more money for other folks. Great question, really great. Who said this, "Madam I will be sober in the morning, but you will still be ugly?" Take care.

humm..... I won't do a search on the internet because that will be cheating (I'm not a member of the Clinton camp...) so I believe Ron Paul said these words.
