The first thing is-it's a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The second would be it's a time when family usually gets together. I must admit to buying gifts and enjoying the wrapping and all of that stuff. I try every year to have a purely spititual Christmas and maybe I will if my children and their children stop having children. Not holding my breath on that,because,now my grandchildren are having children. See what I mean?
