She stays with him one week and then stays with her mom the next week. When she's with her mom, I get to sleep with him in his bed, but when she's with us, I end up sleeping in her room in her bed and she sleeps with him. Does it seem odd to anyone else but me? What can I do to sleep with him full time?

There is nothing sexual going on in ANY way, shape or form - I just think she has a problem with sleeping alone. Any suggestions as to how to get her to sleep in her own bed?

Well, i know a lot of ppl are going to suggest that this is pedophelia. Just so that you are clear, its not.
She probably has an attachment issue or something. The best way to make her sleep in her own bed is to force her to. Dont let her sleep with daddy at all anymore. It will probably result in a few sleepless nights for her, maybe a temper tantrum, depending on just how attached she is to sleeping with someone.
And again, not attachment in a sexual way, but simple human touch. You know how if you let your baby sleep with you when they are born you have a hard time getting them back in thier own bed? Its the same thing. They are so accustomed to the comfort of human contact, that they cant sleep without it.
I would be curious to know if she sleeps with her mom as well? This would further prove my theory if she does. Also, if she does, it wont be easy to break her of sleeping with daddy if she is still sleeping with mom.
Edit: In dealing with trying to sleep alone, some things that may be of comfort to her would be some soft music, a cuddly stuffed animal, extra pillows. I have my bed against the wall and then pillows beside the wall. When my sig other isnt home (he works nights) I lay up against the pillows on the wall.

That seems very odd. Shes too old to be sleeping in the same bed with her dad. You need to sit him down an let him know how you feel about the whole thing. If he loves you he will understand.

IN some if not all state what he is doing is illegal. She is way to old to be sleeping in the same bed with dad. You need to find out what if anything is going on there.

I would suggest that the daughter needs counseling... She obviously has some issues & the older she gets the harder its going to be to deal with it.
I think that your boyfriend also needs some counseling - why would he continue to ALLOW his daughter to sleep w/ him? Especially when that's not a typical thing @ her age.

another parent that can't say NO to a child.
Put a stop to this right now, before social services finds out about it somehow and take her away from him.
