i know thata when an armistice or w/e is signed and it ended warld war 1 ....

i know they signed the peace treaty but i want to know if there is any significance to the 11 11 11 thing

why did they sign it on that day and that time, etc

It was not when the Armistice was signed - it was the hour agreed on by the belligerents for the cease fire to become operative and when the guns, therefore, fell silent. Whether they chose the hour to make such a memorable time, I don't know.
