I have a friend who told me that Nordstroms has a policy that they accept all returns even without a tag or reciept. If you return clothes without a reciept or tag, they just give you store credit. He says every 3-6 months he returns the jeans he's been wearing and gets store credit and gets new ones. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if there's any truth to this.

I haven't returned jeans, but a few shirts and dresses that I bought but washed before trying on I was able to return (without tags or receipt). Nordstrom has a really good return policy, I'm sure they'll let you return jeans.

tell your friend he's a....
