no stuffed animals...they loose they appeal after 5 minutes, trust me, and the parents end up with tons of them to sell at garage sales :)

playdough (still not a parent favorite but kids love it)
the doodle pads that only draw on doodle paper is a parent and kid favorite.

three year olds are at the cause and effect age...if it has buttons they can push and something happens...they'll love it.

Because of recalls this year, I'm taking the easy way out. The toys that my little one got for her birthday this year that I didn't think her ready for or just didn't want to clean up (still don't!), I may sneak them under the tree!

I'm also recycling a bunch of stuffed animals from my childhood that have been in boxes in the attic. A wash, a rinse and spritz of Febreeze and they're (almost) like new. If you're really creative, make them sock puppet cows. :) What kid doesn't like to play with their socks, as long as its not on their feet?

I have both a two year old sister and a three year old sister. Kids books are always good some of my favorites are the very hungry caterpillar, good night gorilla and the napping house. If you go to toys r us and go to the craft section they should have play dough or they have just came out with a bunch of new craft stuff. They really are not picky... hopefully that will help. you can contact me if you are still confused!

Coloring books, regular books, any toy that says age 3 and up on a toy isle ? The beauty of three year olds is that they are happy with nearly anything.

If she is an animal lover, get her a stuffed animal toy.... If not, you can buy her Hello Kitty.. When i was 4 or 3.. I loved hello kitty and I still like it now..''Somethings never change'' as the saying goes..

Have a merry Christmas...

Go to the local Target. Their toy isles have ages on them so you know what is dedicated towards that age group. Its a huge help! I'd aim for a toy in the 4 year old group and anything that will help them learn will be an appreciated gift.

I'm a huge fan of books for little kids. Maybe a few books, and you can draw her name, date, and your name in the books as a memento, and a really neat personal touch.

properly, in the adventure that your one million year previous likes eating, you should get him a faux little kitchen set or something like that, or you should get him some new clothing, or some style of backyard plaything, those are continually relaxing. For the three year previous...properly, i could lower back, elect an backyard plaything in keeping with probability, like a sled or something for snowy relaxing if it snows on your section, or maybe another style of outdoors toy.

My little pony's are HUGE right now with 3 year olds! They are about $10 a piece at Target or Walmart :)

Playdough is always a good one too.

Anything with crayons or washable paints/markers with a coloring book. Those are always dirt cheap.
