I'm 5'2. Petite...and Asian .
It doesn't help that I have European friends who are like 5'10 + model height and their boyfriends are even bigger. I feel SO SMALL. I hate it.
Are there any steroids petite women can take ?
I had other friends ask me " Well did you ever think they want to be like you instead ?" Ummmm... NO.
I feel that petite women are not taken seriously and even sometimes treated like a child.
Being petite SUCKS.

Tall women have it tough. Men are intimidated by them, and when they do find a man comfortable with dating a tall woman, the woman can't wear high heels anymore because then she'll be towering over her man.
And some of them do want to be like us. Men love our petite bodies which are more feminine than tall framed ones. You have an easier time finding clothes that fit you (designer clothes are made for size 2 women, anyway).
What's the problem, you shouldn't be worrying about what people think of you anyway. I can never understand why people can't be satisfied with what they have, or everyone wants something they can't have?

Many absolutely prefer petite women, while others like those on the opposite end of the spectrum. At 260 pounds, I am considered obese, but my boyfriend is a mere 150 pounds. Everyone has a preference to which they are entitled.

I have to look down, I'm 6' 1", if i don't, i won't see you. And I wouldn't want to miss a beautiful sight like that !
There are many great benefits to being petite.
Easier to carry through the threshold on your honeymoon, saves a potentially embarassing and harmful event in which the groom might fall or drop you, because he can't carry an "Amazon"
You can fit much more clothes in your drawers and closet, because their smaller.(won't run out of room, like most women do)
"standard" bath tubs are not big enough to fit a big guy and a big girl, just big enough for a big guy and a "petite" girl (in case you want to share your bubbles)
Think of all the money your going to save over the course of your lifetime, just on food alone !

Yeah, I know what you mean. It seems petite women are so outnumbered. I am white, 5' 0" and petite. I think a petiite Asian woman is more accepted than a petite white woman

I am respected. I am 4' 11''. Noone looks down on petite women. Infact I have a friend who is 5' 9'' and she says she feels like a transvestite when she's with me.

Only when I'm on top. I love petite women. Hell I love all women.
Don't be so self conscience. I dated a girl for 3 yrs. that was 5'11" she was a runway and photo model but she said she still felt like a freak.

Well, I'm 5'11 and one of my best friends is 4'11. She's a great person, very smart, funny, etc. No need to feel bad about your size. You are what God made you.
