To me, there is no band greater or more influential than The Fab four themselves, The Beatles...It amazes me (especially as a professional working musician) that 43 years after the initial appearance in America, they are still covered by bands and musicians of all ages. Also their albums are still right there with the top 40 prices Go price the white album,,,in the 70;s it went for $15-$20, these days it runs $25-$30 for the cd set... I have a nephew who is 14 years old and is totally enthralled in the Boys from Liverpool. McCartney is and always will be my most influential artist of all time...
I also feel strongly about Styx as well.
