I'd like one of those Viking funerals. Where they strap you to a raft made of wood and shove you off into a lake and shoot flaming arrows at your body until it catches on fire. I guess, that's a cremation of sorts, so my final answer is cremation.

I think I want to be cremated...I thought about being buried but there is so much land being used already...why not put me back on the earth after being cremated...I just hope that I don't feel a thing and that I really am dead!

I would want to be cremated and here's why. Some graves have been cleared for new buildings and I would not want it that way, also graves are kind of a way of luxury bregging. Some people are judged from how expensive their tombstones are. I would want to be cremated and have my ashes In an are I have always loved, just a little bit. And the rest of my ashes could be kept by my loved one to remind them. No grave trips, just right there in a dining room. Maybe if my kids would come to my wives house as a part of Thanksgiving. They would say, "hey theres dads remains, I remember the good times" Seeing that graves are only occasionally visited, would take time for the pain to pass by loved ones as a vase with my ashes, they would see it forever and get over the pain as quickly as possible. That's my opinion. By the way, very interesting question, really gets people thinking.

Probably buried because then you are actually still kinda there, and look more like a person. But if you are cremated, then you can actually be in the house. That is a hard question... Also if you are cremated, and you really loved something, your ashes can be sprinkled on the ground, and you are kinda there, but then you aren't sure where your "body" is... Sorry its kinda confusing! lol

I would choose to be cremated, because by the time I die, I don't know if there will be enough room on earth to bury people anymore.

Cremated. I dislike the idea of being put in the cold, wet dirt. Plus if we keep burying people, we'll have no room left for future burials. In one country, they bury people for a certain amount of time, but because they have so little room, they dig them up in a few years so someone else can be buried there, leaving family to dispose of the previously buried body as best as they can.....sounds nice, huh?

I've always preferred the idea of cremation over burial, but now I'm undecided. I know for certain that I don't want to be underground, and I like the idea of being scattered and blowing in the wind, but I'm not too keen on being burned.
I've heard of an air burial, a Native American ritual of being placed up on a platform and allowing the body to decompose naturally.
After there's nothing but bones left, I guess burning wouldn't be as bad. Otherwise, grinding the bones into a fine powder would work as well.

I am to be cremated no hole in the ground for me! I have arranged that after my death I am to be dressed in my pyjamas and are to be then put into a pine coffin which I have already chosen. I shall be then taken direct to the crematorium were I will then be put into the furnace afterwards my ashes will be scattered on the roses in the grounds. This will go ahead as soon as possible after I die the following day if possible I don't want to hang around!

Cremated, after any usable parts are taken to help others. I am done with my body, I don't want to put my kids through the expense of a burial, I don;t want any one to feel obligated to come visit my grave. I don't want to be dug up 200 years from now so someone can build a shopping center.

I would reather my children spend what ever it is I leave behind enjoying themselves. Rather than a lavish fineral I want my kids to have a party for my riends so they can all have one last one on me, then scatter my ashes into the ocean that I love.

This is a tough answer for me cause the way I hope to die is one of these two ways, doing something I seriously love or in bed next to my sweetheart. I do lean more towards being buried... In a spot were there is room for when my baby dies, so that him and I can rest in peace together. But if I die doing something I love like Bung Jumping, Sky Diving, MotorX, trying out Surfing or riding a really awesome ride at a themepark and it crashes or I fly off... Call me crazy but I would love that! Specially a coaster! But if it were something that extreme then it depends on what happens...

He He...
Happy Holidays!
