Found in the region surrounding Voss and Hordaland in Norway, the Dala was developed between 1860 and 1920 from Cheviot, Leicester Longwool and Old Norwegian breeds. It is the most common breed in Norway today with approximately 45% of all registered sheep being Dala. The breed is distributed throughout Norway and is kept primarily for meat production.
It is a polled, medium wool breed that is similar in appearance to the Cheviot.
Adult ewes are usually 85-90 kg.
45% is not a majority..so what I say isn't to be confused as the bottom line on anything

um no im in no way shape or form a political sheep. a lot of people think that in order for us to be patriotic and american that we have to be political sheep. well our founding fathers werent political sheep and they didnt want us to be either.
