Most males tend to find that their voice begins to break around the ages of late 14 / early 15. It then gets deeper accordingly

Maybe never. I think a lot of the idea that all guys' voices breaks is just hollywood/TV crap--I never heard any guys I grew up with have their voices crack, and never did myself. So I suspect it is the exception, not the rule. Most guys will just notice the voice deepening gradually as they pube out.
