Life Metaphor
Life is like a neverending highway embedded with speed bumps
and stop signs.
I drive my car and it leads me into the unknown.
Impricating me with sharp curves and steep hills, making
me pounce off the ground.
Suddenly, it leads me into my destination
Its bright yellow lines illuminate my path during dark gloomy
nights.
As I release my foot from the pedal, the highway seems to have fewer
speed bumps and fewer stop signs.
The road seems shorter now.
Then I begin to wonder was there another path I could have taken.

There are lots of quotes about life and a lot of other things on the internet. You can type, famous quotes, funny quotes, etc. Some of the sites are categorized by author, some by subject. I use these all the time when I am ordering new business cards.
I hope this helps.

I'll do the best that I can...o.k.? Life life, a watter bottle is only as good as what you put into it. Like life a water bottle can be warm and inviting, and soothing filled with the right stuff. Like life a water bottle can be flat and empty if nothing is put into it. Like life a water bottle can be cold and unconsoling if left out and not tended to. life life...a water bottle can be cool and refreshing when needed. Like life water bottles can get old and spring a leak. ...!!!

Just Like Me
By Mike McCracken
If you look into the future
And don’t like what you see
Then, I’m sure
You’re just like me
I saw Satan coming
And demons marching in
Then, I saw Heaven
And couldn’t get in
(chorus)
I saw Hell’s fire rising
Burning eternally
And still, I saw Heaven
Looking down at me
Jesus stood before me
And said, “I’ll let you in”
I cried, “Just let me be”
And stayed lost in sin
I stood before the preacher
Preaching eternity
And saw Jesus standing there
Looking down at me
His eyes were full of love
His heart full of mercy
Then, I looked to God above
And cried, “Why me?”
He said, “Look into the future
Tell me what you see”
I said, “There’s another
Just like me”
And Jesus is the future
So, please don’t hesitate
Turn to Jesus before you hear
It’s too late.
This is the way most people are. Some people never get to know Jesus.

Isn't it amazing! just as each differ snow flake falls to the ground
on too warm a day, they all melt together in the same way.
or each finger print differs-yet we each are born with the
same amount of each.
Body, mind, soul, one and the same yet different.
metaphors are endless and will take us as far as we want to go with them, or them with us?

life is like a bicycle
once you stop pedaling you fall down
but you have to get up
to get to your destination
(sorry not in poetic form)
