They had two chances, but slim left the building. Coach Zook has done a fantastic job in getting this program turned into the right direction and his recruiting speed just may force other Big Ten coaches to seriously look south and west for talent at all positions. But the Illini have no chance against a USC team who will take the Rose Bowl to build to an appearance in the BCS title game in January 2009.
