For more than half of the season, there wasn't even a doubt on Tom Brady shattering Peyton Manning's single season TD record of 49. The expected result was that Tom Brady would get 54 TD's.

But he has been choking a bit in the second half of the season. Okay, maybe he wasn't choking when he got 5 TD's against the Buffalo Bills, but other than that, he hasn't been doing all too great. He has 41 TD's. With 4 games remaining in the season, Tom Brady needs to get atleast 2 TD's in each game, (to tie the record), and 3 in atleast one game to beat the record. He has a very well chance of not getting that score of TD's the way he's playing right now. What do you think?

Oh right...I forgot that the Patriots were playing the Dolphins and Jets in their last 4 games, my bad. I call that the Jets and Dolphins will be crushed by Tom Brady, scoring 4 TD's against the Dolphins, and 6 against the Jets.

He is in a slump (Funny to say a QB that ONLY has 3 TD passes in 2 games a slump)...But he will bounce back...

And if he doesn't and still wins the Super Bowl, which let's face it..REALLY is the prize...Do you figure he will care.....

He absolutely could. But the factors against it will be:

1) Weather. 3 of the 4 games are in Foxboro and the other is at the Meadowlands. Lousy weather - cold, snow, etc. - will make it a challenge. (That's not a problem Peyton had - or has - for half of his games.)

2) Rest. It's possible that if home field advantage is sewn up, they'll be resting Brady and pals for the playoffs. The record(s) would be nice, but the goal is really the Superbowl. At least that's what I presume. :)

The reasons it might happen are two words that need no further explanation: Jets and Dolphins.

52 TD passes by the end of the season, He'll throw 3 in the steelers game, 4 in the Dolphins game, 3 in the Jets game, and 2 in the ginats game.

Yes.. he needs to get 9 to tie, and 10 to win... they are playin the Steelers, Miami, the Jets and Giants... I would imagine he'll get 2-4 td's per game .... looks like it's going to happen in the game against Miami.

He has been choking? Since when? He had two last night so if he only has two per game from this point forward, he matches the record. However, two of those teams are pathetic so I think the chances that he beats the record are still good.

Yes he will throw around 6 against the Jets because the Pats will be looking for blood, and they also get to play Miami again.
