If an NFL football game was only 55 minutes long, then yes the Ravens deserved to win last night. Unfortunately for them, NFL games are a full 60 minutes. And, as such, the team that deserved to win was the one who put more points on the scoreboard once those 60 minutes were over.
The timeout on 4th and 1, combined with those double personal foul penalties, is what lost the game for the Ravens, and completely wasted a valiant effort by both the offense and defense. The first was bad luck (they should have learned from Mike Shanahan) and the second was stupidity. If the Ravens want to find out whose fault it is that they lost that game, they should quit pointing fingers at the officials and go take a look in a mirror.

Well after the way Baltimore imploded in the last 2 minutes they sure as hell didn't deserve to win more than New England.
Every single call was legitament and they showed every penalty on the tv. I feel bad that the Refs may have been harrasing the Ravens players but at somepoint you got to just finish the game.
Sorry the time out was the Ravens fault
The holding the Ravens fault
The personal foul the Ravens fault
As a Pats fan I can say the Ravens played a great game but the Pats and the refs didn't screw the Ravens
The Ravens screwed the Ravens

Assuming NE finishes 11-5 and the Jets win the branch. If the Chiefs win the West, the main suitable the Chargers can do is 10-6. If the Chargers win the West, then the Chiefs could have a checklist not extra useful than 10-6. the two way, that's certain that NE could area out the West for a wild card berth. If the Jags had gained immediately and proceeded to win the South, the main suitable checklist the Colts ought to've had could be 9-7. If the Colts win the South, the main suitable checklist the Jags could have is 10-6. the two are no longer almost as good as NE's 11-5, for this reason making certain NE the sting over the South in wild card bids. there is no different contenders in the East, so as that leaves only the North. only you may make it in as a wild card team, for this reason leaving one very final spot that may only visit the Pats.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to clutch performance. True, Tom Brady didn't carry that victory last night. His fellow players are the ones that scored most of the points to win the game so Brady doesn't deserve most of the credit. But at the square end of it all, it comes down to whichever quarterback can execute the best clutch performance. Tom Brady was able to do so in this case, with an 8 yard touchdown pass to Gaffney with 44 seconds left on the clock. That's what wins you a game. Clutch performance. And that's why Tom Brady deserves credit for the victory. Just like saying Adam Vinatieri deserves credit for all 3 of the Patriots' Super Bowl victories. Tom Brady carried the victory, but it all comes down to the clutch performer at the end of it all when the smoke disappears.

The Patriots did not bring their A game, that's for sure. But the Ravens really sank themselves with legitimate penalties. So many in the first half and the Pats didn't capitalize on them. But in the final few minutes, the Ravens lost it. If ever there's a time you have to be smart against the Pats, it's in their final drive in the fourth quarter. Look at their history!

It doesn't matter who deserved the win. At the end Baltimore made mistakes and gave away the victory to NE.

Brady did play like crap....For Brady...Besides his completion percentage...He had an average game for most QB's in the league.....
If the Ravens deserved to win, they should have scored more points......
Not trying to bash, but the score was what it was...Baltimore played an amazing game, but fell short....

If, the Ravens players, Bart Scott, in particular, had not acted like poor sports, and immature children, they might have won... Scott's actions in the endzone, caused them to lose 30 yards in penalties. Not to mention all the other penalties, they caused during the course of the game.... No the Ravens did not "deserve" to win. All that fussing is just sour grapes.

Ya its kind of hard to play good when your throwing the ball in 30 MPH wind.
And guess what in football know one cares about who deserves to win or how you do it, all that counts is the final score. If the Ravens stopped making all those dumb penalties they would have won, but they lost controll over themselves and lost the game. Good teams don't do that.
