That would be because they are publicly funded institutions. This is not the case in private colleges. My sister went to a private college and they didn't push their liberal or atheist views there.
They get public funding and this is why, though.

Maybe Bob Jones or Liberty University would be better suited for you...
Universities aren't like high school. Professors are allowed a great amount of leeway when teaching and are not constrained to a rigid set curriculum.
Also, most professors I've met have welcomed disagreement when it comes to personal views, and generally without retribution.

Go to a Christian college, I did, there's plenty of Christian views there. It's obvious that you've never been to college because the public school professor's religious point of view or non-religious point of view never come up. Show the proof. The rest of us who have been to both Christian and Public colleges know better. BTW, I know alot of Public college professors who go to my church. So, your posting just makes no sense.
BTW, alot of writing classes study the literature of the Bible. In Art History classes on the Western World are all about the beliefs of the Christian religion through Art during the rise of Western culture. History classes also have examples of this. No atheist beliefs or atheism is ever mentioned in those classes.
Speakeasy, show us the government documents that show God as the highest authority. Prove it.
BTW, Christian colleges get public funding too. They are called Pell Grants, state grants and government secured Student loans. So Public schools professors are not the only ones that get paid with government money.

properly I actual hate them virtually as much as I hate the Taliban. human beings like that have not have been given a tendency to final very long earlier they're eaten up by using actuality. merely supply it time and the "is going around comes around" regulation will chew them up. They insist on pushing their perspectives because of the fact they're scared. they're nerve-racking of the atheist replace that's coming onto united states of america, and concern turns human beings into beasts.

How funny. My English professor tried to bring Jesus into the conversation every chance he got. He finally created an English class based on the Bible.
I didn't mind it; there is plenty of room for all.
Oh, and he was head of the English Department.

Really? There's a class where the professor tries to push his/her religious views on you, I haven't seen it yet, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it.

I never had a professor like this, and I've taken 212 credits of college courses. That's approximately 70 courses, and so at least 60 different professors. Granted, about 60 of those credits were in business (accounting), but another 60 of those credits were at the University of Michigan (very liberal school) in their Master's of Social Work program (extremely liberal program), and still...
...none of them shoved an Atheist agenda at me.
However, I did hear people on street corners as I walked to those classes call me a homo and say I was going to Hell.
It seems like you're generalizing. Citing some reliable sources would help.

They are en lighteners.
Aren't we as a free society suppose to let our professors help find things, figure things out based on solid information?
