Moses to make the rules. The rules were handed down by God and passed on to him. The most famous rules are referred to as the Ten Commandments. His greatest accomplishment was to lead a bunch of ungrateful Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and finally to the promised land. He stood against Pharoah and with God's help rescued them. They were not apprectiative to say the least. Another one of his great accomplishments is that he authored the first five books of the Old Testament. His early lifestyle was as Pharoahs grandson. He spent forty years watching his fellow Israelites be slaves and mistreated. After killing an Egyptian that was hurting an Israelite, he spent forty years in exile as a shepherd. The last forty years of his life were spent gaining the release of his fellow Israelites and leading them through the desert until they reached the promised land.
