Drink more water!

It hasn't been for mine. It just depends on the amount of water that I drank that day. It has been more cloudy though. It's very possible that it can get darker without the factor of dehydration. For instance, the other women that have shared their experiences in their responses to this question and my mother had the same thing happen too. Just in case, I would drink more water to be sure that it's nothing major. :)

Darker pee means it is more concentrated. Like dehydration. Like your first morning urine is always darker than the rest. As your baby gets bigger, it will put more pressure on your bladder and you will have to go more often, but lesser amounts. That pee should be light.

The more water you drink the clearer your urine will be...if you do not drink enough water and drink too many soft drinks it can darken your urine...if you hold your urine that can affect the color...and sometimes the pernatals you're on can make your urine darker too...just drink plenty of water and you'll be fine!

My urine hasn't gotten darker, but I did notice with both pregnancies it got cloudy. Normaly urine gets darker when you are not drinking enough. My OB always said I should be drinking enough water and juice that my urine is almost clear. Ask your OB or midwife if your concerned, but I dont think its anything bad.

it shouldnt. that means you need to drink more

dark or cloudy urine is a sign of a problem
drink a couple 20 oz bottles of water and see if that helps the same will go for contractions later not enough water will cause them later on

It could mean your dehydrated or it could be because of vitamins. The best thing is the check with your doctor. Nothing to get alarmed at. Good luck with your pregnancy!

Funny not one person mentions to tell your doctor.

Hmm, I'm not sure! lol, I know mine is darker in the morning than it is later on after I've had things to drink. Never paid much attention to it in relation to pregnancy though.

If you pee is that dark, you are dehydrated. Being dehydrated is awful for your baby so drink more water. Drink at least 8 glasses a day. You and your baby need it.

that happens when you're dehydrated. which can happen more easily during pregnancy, as your need for fluids increase so your body can increase its blood volume.
dehydration puts you at higher risk for preterm labor/miscarriage.

drink that water up!! till your urine is nearly clear.
